I started judging Cavaliers in 1987 at Open Show level and judged my first championship show,
UK Toydog Society, in 1998 when 8 ½ months pregnant.
Since then I have judged on several more occasions at championship show level as follows:

I am also officiating at Birmingham City CS judging dogs in September 2006.

I have also been very fortunate to have judged abroad on a regular basis.

I am honoured to be judging the Cavaliers of the Midwest, USA in October 2007 and
the Victoria Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Championship show June 2008.

When judging Cavaliers, I keep in my mind the picture of my ‘Ideal Dog’ and so will look
for a Cavalier that is first and foremost a toy spaniel, that projects quality, is sound
and has ‘the head’. I dislike fault judging and aim for overall quality,
not a dog that is ‘faultless’ but bland.
